Hi, I'm Sophia Flores, founder of Bright Creative Studios.

My career has taken a unique path, and every step has shaped how I approach marketing today.

I started my career in Hollywood as a celebrity makeup artist, spending over 16 years working with brands, photographers, creative teams, and talent. During that time, I learned that great creative is about much more than making something look beautiful. It's about telling a story, creating an experience, and helping people connect with a brand.

After moving to New York, I became the Lead Makeup Artist at Slate Studios, where I worked on content productions for brands including Mack Weldon, Headquarters, Not Your Mother's, Moose Knuckles, and Bandier. Being surrounded by creative directors, producers, photographers, and marketing teams sparked my interest in the strategy behind the content. I found myself wanting to understand how brands grow and how thoughtful content can build lasting relationships with an audience.

That curiosity led me to transition into digital marketing.

After completing an intensive digital marketing program through Acadium, I joined Tinuiti, where I managed paid social campaigns for national brands across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and other platforms. I worked on campaigns with advertising budgets ranging from $200,000 to $500,000, gaining valuable experience in strategy, analytics, and performance marketing.

As much as I enjoyed paid media, I realized what excited me most was organic social.

I love creating content that feels authentic. I love developing social media strategies, telling meaningful stories, and helping brands show up consistently in a way that feels genuine. Whether it's creating short-form video, covering an event, managing a community, or planning a content calendar, I enjoy bringing ideas to life and helping brands build real connections with their audience.

That passion inspired me to start Bright Creative Studios.

Today, I partner with businesses, organizations, and founders to grow their online presence through social media strategy, content creation, community management, and creative storytelling. My goal is to create content that not only looks beautiful but also supports each client's business goals and helps them connect with the people they want to reach.

I believe the best brands are built on trust and connection. Social media is more than posting content. It's about creating a community where people feel seen, engaged, and excited to be part of your story.

Whether online or in person, building a trusted community is one of the most valuable things a brand can do. When people trust your brand, they become loyal customers, advocates, and long-term supporters. Helping businesses create those meaningful connections is one of my favorite parts of what I do.
